Born and raised in Covington, Louisiana, Dr. Bravo is returning home to create a dermatology practice centered around exceptional care, personal attention, and an elevated patient experience. Bravo Dermatology will bring together medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology in a beautiful, thoughtfully designed setting where patients of all ages can feel comfortable, cared for, and confident in their skin.
We are currently putting the finishing touches on a practice that has been designed from the ground up with our patients in mind, and we cannot wait to welcome you.
Bravo Dermatology is anticipated to open in mid-October, with appointment scheduling beginning in late September.

For Dr. Monica Bravo, practicing dermatology in Louisiana is personal. A Covington native, she is excited to return home and build a practice where she can care for the community that helped shape her.
Dr. Bravo graduated Summa Cum Laude from Louisiana State University, earning a Bachelor of Science with a minor in Business before receiving her medical degree from LSU Health Sciences Center School of Medicine. She completed her internship in Internal Medicine at LSU in New Orleans, followed by her three-year Dermatology residency at LSU.
A board-certified dermatologist and Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, Dr. Bravo provides comprehensive medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatologic care for patients of all ages. She has a particular passion for cosmetic dermatology and believes excellent dermatologic care is about more than treating the skin: it is about helping patients feel healthy, comfortable, and confident in it.
Her work has been published in The Journal of Investigative Medicine and Dermatological Reviews, and she brings the same commitment to clinical excellence, attention to detail, and thoughtful care to every patient she treats.
Outside of dermatology, Dr. Bravo enjoys spending time with her husband, their beautiful little girl, and two Frenchies. She also loves cooking, tending to her vegetable garden, exercising, traveling, and enjoying the Louisiana community she is proud to call home.
